Let me know if u need any more pics of the item Peter. I have uploaded some more.

I also have a few other items that I would like you to see if you don't mind. I buy things that I like rather than for monetary value but would be interested in knowing a little more about them.

The brown rim has had gilding on, which has been rubbed off.

The style of the dragon under the base and the unidentifiable writing (not Chinese) makes me suspect that it may be modern.
There are not enough pictures. With this small picture the decoration looks like Kangxi, but...

Can you upload more pictures (if necessary in more than one submission. Some closeup details of the decoration and the bands along the rim, as well a view of the upper part of the item. Should at least be possible to identify what it is.
