Here are pics of the underside of the saucer. I hope the pics are good enough to give you the information needed. Signs of age do exist on the piece. Gilding is worn from the rim, foot rim has small nibbles and sometime in it's history a repair has been made. No over painting or glazing was done. It seems right to me but I truly appreciate your opinions.

Hello Peter,
I thought you might enjoy seeing pics of this saucer. I know you recognize the subject. I have seen other items of this subject in books but not in this color. Is there something special about this color? Was it made for a particular market? Do you date it approximately 1750? I am particularly fond of the border design. Can you explain if there is any special meaning to the border. Thank you for any remarks you would like to share.
