Vintage Chinese See Through Sugar Bowls?

I have two small bowls that I believe are Chinese see through sugar bowls (info obtained from my recent internet searches). Porcelain pieces have transparent design when held up to light. I recently bought them at an estate sale and they were unable to supply any background information other than the former owner collected many things over the years. There are no markings whatsoever, on the bottoms of the bowls. And, I was wondering whether or not this has any bearing on the age, maker or quality of the pieces? I would appreciate any additional information. Thank You, Gary
