Sorry, I have no idea of the price on an international level, only in the location where I live. I would check completed Ebay sales for similar items. You can upload a picture and post the question with a separate submission on this blog, if you wish. Maybe some other visitor knows?

Brass bowl from Ming Dynasty by: Robert
I too have a brass bowl with the same Chinese characters on the bottom. , But with two dragons encircling the characters. The outer surface of the bowl has engravings of a dragon and of a phoenix facing each other, typical representation of Ying and Yang, Male and Female.
Do you have any idea of the value of such a bowl.?
Your input would be most appreciated.
Regards.

Chinese Brass Bowls by: Alan
Peter, thank you for your speedy response to my enquiry. The bowls came to me from my father-in-law and I suspect that he must have purchased them no later than 1950. I have a picture of the bowls to upload as soon as I can find how this is done. Alan

reign mark by: admin
Hello Alan,
The mark says "Da Ming Xuande Nian Zhi" (made during the Xuande reign of the great Ming). You find the emperor's reign names here: https://www.chinese-antique-porcelain.com/chinese-emperors.html and there is a link to the names in Chinese characters below the table on that page.
If this is a censer I would be careful. Lots of new or recently made censers are or were made with Ming marks. Hope this helps...
