Thanks for the additional mark pictures, Alex. No, marks cannot be relied on, they never could... that means not even in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The only marks that can somewhat be relied on are factory marks used in the republic and second half of the 20th century, just because they are known from certain factories, which were active at a certain time, etc. However, apocryphal marks like reign marks are still being widely used today, just for decoration.
Basically, you can feel enameled and fencai porcelain. But enameled porcelain before the 20th century was mainly produced for the palace only, during the Qianlong reign. The other, more often encountered one is "fencai" porcelain, usually polychrome porcelain which has the color decoration on top of the glaze. This concerns the antiques pre-20th century, which used mainly mineral pigments.
Due to the increased use of chemical pigments in the 20th century this may be different in later times.
