Tea Dust glaze

by William
(St. Petersburg, Fl)

Hello, Peter

Both mine and the 19th century examples have similar or same shapes, by different names and domesticated uses, I gave credence to glaze and shape, because they were mentioned as being essential in determining period and make, in your first post on Teadust glaze, but are they important after all. Anyhow, I am posting the fourth pottery link , containing the one that looks most similar to mine, in my opinion, I don't know what happened the last time, however, I'm glad the others got through OK. oh, and I am usually very cautious when purchasing, if uncertain of the vendors knowledge or my own, my rule of thumb is to negotiated down to "an apple, and an egg", as in this case as well as with the Tongzhi "style" vase, Thanks for sharing all your expertise.
