tea bowl

Hi can you tell me anything about this piece? Is it a tea bowl? Is it Chinese Japanese or European?
What kind of age?
It is really fine and translucent and hand painted
Any information would be good.

Hi Craig,
There is no indication on this item that this is Chinese. Could be European or export for the west. As such it would have to been more recent (20th century at least).
