I bought this in Cat Street, Hong Kong this summer and the seller looked sincere and honest. But still I would like your opinion on this piece.

Shelley, I trust you should know enough about selling practices of Chinese dealers, but if not, read a bit about "buying" in this site.
Even if sellers are sincere, they frequently don't know their stuff when it comes to Chinese porcelain.

I don't know that much about 高古瓷, but this is most likely wrong. The bottom does not look Song and it has too many lobes. The most of I know are about five or six for Song/Yuan. About four (四花口) for Tang.
