Small Imari Bowl

Hello Peter,

I have this small imari bowl.The colours are not as vivid in real life as they turned out on these photos.There are no marks,only this unusual base.I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Kurt, this is a typical Japanese Imari. I'm afraid I cannot help much with that.
I suggest you do a Google image search for Imari or Japanese Imari, looking for similar items, to find the source.
