I've had this rectangular reticulated porcelain vase or incense burner and would like to know it's approx. age and purpose. Each side has a different panel of birds. Thank you Peter!

The decoration seems to be transfer printed. I'm afraid this is a 20th century product. Rather on the later side I would think. The Chinese did not use transfer printing until the second half of the 20th century, as far as I understand.
