POSSIBLE AGE OF THIS BOWL

Hello Peter,
I picked up this bowl & was wondering if you could tell me roughly when it was made.
It's thick walled & has handpainted buddhist/taoist like symbols under the glaze.
Has a visible mixed bubble structure in glaze.

You did not give dimensions. If interior at lip is 25 cm. diameter or more, could have been used as planter (for holding terra-cotta pots with plants), or more likely as ~commode~ (do internet search). The latter were typically heavily potted due to heavy use, and usually had the broad lip such as you show; usually had matching cover.

Thanks for the quick response Peter.
The bowl is glazed inside & it is heavily dimpled also inside as well.
The overall outer glaze appears a more white colour other than the underside of the base which is more of a paler blueish tone.
Does this help further or would more images be needed to revise the initial assessment?

I still think it is a censer. Couldn't imagine what else it could be. Whether the interior is glazed depends somewhat on size. Large censers are more likely to have an unglazed bottom, but smaller ones mostly are glazed (with exceptions). The only other thing that I could think of in view to shape would be a fish bowl, but it would probably be carefully glazed inside plus have some size.

As for the age, still 19th century or Guangxu, I assume...

These pictures are not close enough to see details of the surface, but it looks to me as if the inside was not glazed at the bottom?

If that is right, then this could be a censer from the Qing dynasty, judging from the foot.
The decoration and shape make it look as if it were 19th century. If the white glaze is snow white, then it is more likely from the Guangxu reign.
