Porcelain Bowl

My husband passed away recently and in some of the boxes he had packed away I found what looks to be an antique porcelain bowl with ornate flowers formed around the sides. It says "Hong Kong" on the bottom, but no other identifying marks. He was never in the service, however his father was stationed overseas. Can you help me to determine what it is and if it is of any value? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Sandra
