HI Peter,
I would like to know if you can help me in identifying this blue and white Chinese porcelain vase. I have done some of my own research and believe it could be an Imperial piece from the yaun or ending warring states period. Maybe it was made to order or a prototype piece. I'm not sure and have had trouble understanding the symbols on the base. The symbols and made in China are under the glaze. The Vase also has a marking on the inside bottom, there is a symbol in the shape of an e and there is also a chip that was taken from the bottom rim and placed on the top rim before firing was done. It height is 12 1/4 in. your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you...Julie
