Just bught them from a thrift shop for these reasons:
- large 8.5" diameter
- marks: CHINA MADE IN and not MADE IN CHINA
- the letter N is in a funny way "reversed"
- perfect conditions
- marks: above glaze.
- design is above glaze
- Rim: not perfect circle
- I like them

could you help me with the period and the maker if possible

Hehe, their (English) spelling isn't the best sometimes. The reversed N was also there in one of the earliest English language marks, temporarily, in the late Qing dynasty.

This bowl is not that old, however. Basically, all marks having both Chinese characters and English in the mark are from the second half of the 20th century, at the most. I cannot see the characters clearly, but they seem to say "Jingdezhen". The former porcelain metropolis...

Please be aware that such bowls were made since the late Qing dynasty, and you can see new ones on sale, occasionally. So, you have to look at the mark and bottom, to check from when they could be. Here the bottom looks pretty new.
