pair of antque dragon vases

These two matching pair of dragon vases has been in my family for over one hundred years, how they came into our possesion unknown to me sa I am 68 years old and were left to my. I AM INETRESTED IN SELLING THEM AS i BELIEVE THEM TO BE QUITE VALUBLE. cAN ANYONE ENLIGHTEN my ignorance of chinese antiquaties. Many thanks

They do look like Japanese made for sale to West influenced by 'arts and crafts' movement, made perhaps 1920s or 1930s. Perhaps someone could tell more if the complete vases were pictured, and with an in-focus closeup (straight on, not at angle) of the mark.

These do not look like traditional Chinese items. Maybe someone knowing about Japanese ceramics can tell if this is Japanese?
