hello Peter,
I bought this morning this vase from a garage sale for $5.00
i love it It looks very old
it is 9.5" high and 4" wide approx.
is it Chinese or Japanese?
and what is the story on the vase.

I cannot distinguish any details, the pictures are too small. However, the overall impression from the decoration and colors is that it looks somewhat Japanese.
