Yes, it is Korean vase. Nicely inlaid modern or recent reproduction of 12C mae-pyeong shape vase.
They call it 'Na Jun' (mother of pearl inlay)

Whether it is made of some sort of metal, wood, plastics and then painted with black color embedded with mother of pearl inlay, then it is usual cheap vase and you can realize $10-50. (It will be hard to find any Korean to buy it because they has no scarce value)Go to ebay and find similar kinds of vases with variation.

But if you think that is made of some sort of porcelain, clay, or ceramic, then it would have far greater value than you think. In that case, I recommand you to contact with professional asian antique dealer for accurate appraisal.

Good Luck!

Hi Sal,
It probably is vintage maximum, but I assume you know that.

Yes, could be Korean. Actually, I thought it might be as soon as I saw it. The mother-of-pearl inlay craft of Korea is the best in the Far East. It surpasses that of China and Japan considerably. They are able to do very fine and intricate decorations that make other such decorations look crude.
