Transfer printed vase

Thank you for explaining transfer printing. I wasn't sure what to look for as the tell tale signs and now I know. The seller told me it was genuine but I guess she didn't know. I did not buy this one because it looked funny to me too and I wanted your opinion. So, thanks again!

vase not Tongzhi

Hope you did not buy it, Ryan...
I needed the additional pictures to verify what I suspected from the text in the original pictures.
This is transfer printed.
When you see broken lines which are broken (e.g. are white) intermittently, then this is usually a sign of printing. With brush strokes there is no reason that a stroke should be interrupted. The telltale signs of transfer printing were already there in the brush strokes of the characters, but I could not see the other decoration clearly.
