Oval Plate
This platter is decorated with thick raised but delicate gold vines, purple flowers, and green & yellow leaves. The only mark is an impressed circle 5/16 inch in diameter between the two oval feet. The circle encloses a stick-figure of a man wearing a triangular hat beneath an open rectangle with some lines in it. Do you know if the plate is oriental, and how old it might be? Thanks very much.
