Is this Jar Chinese or Japanese

Hello,

My Mom have this Jar for a long time and she believes that this Jar was made in China on the 14th century. Can you tell what year and where was this jar made from? Your help will be much appreciated.

Hello,
Judging from the freshness of the colors this is a low quality imitation made in the last ten years or so. My personal view. Please ask others for a second opinion.
