Is this a phoenix on this plate? Is this plate an antique?

Without doing enough research, I have been spending money on my collection again. Although I only paid 30 dollars for this one too. I am thinking this is a phoenix. Is that correct? And the big question is how OLD is it? Some aspects of it look old to me and others make me think it is new. Any more information would be greatly appreciated.. thanks again.. Ryan

Yes, I was unsure of it when I bought it. Maybe I'll stumble upon another similar to this on the internet some day or elsewhere. Thanks for the help.. Ryan

Hi, to me the colors look like republic period items from a certain kiln, but the mark could also be Japanese. Not sure about this.
And yes, it is a phoenix.
