Is this one or two pieces. The bowl on the left seems to be wide and flat, while the rest appears to have a high rim.

The overall impression of the left picture is that it is Japanese, age unknown.
Other three pictures: would need side view.
These pictures look as if the rim was straight up towards the top. That would not be a Chinese shape. Could be Japanese.
