I however feel like this is an authentic piece. Dating it around circa 1870

I would say the footrim, if smooth, could actually say a lot about it being a 19th centric Chinese piece , also by the colors.

Very beautiful piece

Although on the surface it seems to be Chinese, I'm afraid this could be a fake.
Apart from the fact that a vase with white decoration on blue ground would be quite exceptional, the style of the floral decoration is not the usual type. There are problems with the bottom too.
The foot rim in these pictures looks as if it were darkened artificially. This is often a sign that an item is fake. In addition the bottom looks too white for the age this should be.
The mark is an (apocryphal) Chenghua mark written in such a weird style, that it could be that the person writing it did not know Chinese (e.g. did just copy the characters without knowing the proper strokes). It could also be just lousy writing...but in combination with the non-standard floral decoration it is reinforcing the impression of a fake, possibly not even made in China itself.
However the placement off-center is also not something usually seen in traditional Chinese ceramics.
