Hi, the I have recently been informed that teapot could be a fake of sung dinasty .and would like to know if anyone could give me any information about it

Hi Peter..you really surprise me by mentioning this shape is "kendi" instead of teapot...(that is javanese language - how do you know that...?) and I agree with you...this is not teapot

This is not a teapot, it is a "kendi". You will find more information on the purpose of these on the web.
The pictures are insufficient to tell anything. With these it is not possible to evaluate if the shape is right. Views from the side and taken in natural lighting (near a window) may be necessary to tell any more.
