Hi Mona, This is huge for a Chinese jar. Judging from the decoration it would be end of Qing dynasty or early republic. That is early 20th century. The mark is inconclusive as it appears to be a spurious mark.
The text has an auspicious meaning and I think it can be summarized with the four characters on the lid: wealth, affluence and old age. The latter means a "long life".
Unfortunately, the characters I hoped to see towards the end of the text are not clear enough to decide whether the cyclical year is mentioned. With dated porcelain it is possible to pinpoint the exact year.

Hi Mona, can you provide the following? - approx. size - closeup picture of mark - closep picture of written text on side. The Chinese is written top down from right to left. So, what I would like to see is the end of the writing on the left of the text. This type of porcelain is sometimes signed or dated.
