 eggshell porcelain

I have a saucer of eggshell porcelain here. Cannot be more than about 1 mm thick. You could break it just by pressing on it with the dumb, while holding it in the hand.

I was told eggshell porcelain was made by shaving the clay off until almost only the glaze remained.
