porcelain box

This is more of a porcelain box than a lidded bowl, despite its shape. No idea for what this could be, but the whiteness of the glaze and the bright colors seem to indicate a newer manufacturing time, perhaps late 20th century. A view of the bottom/foot rim might confirm this.
