Hi Peter/forum friends,

please throw some light on this item (a beautiful porcelain oriental doll- adorned with beautiful crafted design. There seems to be some gold work too, but could be some other material)The doll stands a little over 11 inches (approximately) tall.

Bodhisattva figurine

This is a figurine of the bodhisattva Guanyin (Kannon in Japanese).
Seems to be Japanese. Could be Satsuma, but not quite sure.
