Hi, thanks for your reply. I have attached what I hope are better photos for your opinion and, in answer to your question, the teapot spout has 2 holes inside the pot. (I thought I had uploaded these extra pics before but think I made a mistake - here we go again!!). Many thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

Here are some more photographs - are they any better?
With regard to the spout, the last inch or so is narrower than the rest of it (makes it look mis-shaped!) and, inside the teapot, there are 2 holes at the base of the spout.
If I can provide anymore information to assist, please let me know. I will attach 4 photos to this post and another 4 on the next post - hope this is OK.
