I removed the other post as the picture is similar to this one. To answer your question on that post: no, this is not an antique item. How recent it is is difficult to judge, at the most it is vintage.
The mark seems to say Zhonghua Taoci (=Zhonghua Taoci Gongsi; the literal translation would be China Ceramics Co., but I don't know the exact English name of that manufacturer). I do not know if this is a reproduction, or if any reproductions exist of this manufactuer's items.
Zhonghua Taoci was a major 20th century (art) ceramics manufacturer in Taiwan for a few decades. As fas as I understand, production stopped some 20 or 30 years ago, but I do not know if the company was resurrected more recently. The company produced mainly vases, etc.
Although not antique, items from that manufacturer find collectors as the company's products are considered a part of Taiwan's cultural heritage.
Here is a link of Taiwan's government cultural office to a (Chinese) web page relating to that company. http://nrch.cca.gov.tw/ccahome/search/search_meta.jsp?xml_id=0005836854
