Hi Kenny,

Thanks for the additional pictures.
This is new. I won't call it a fake as it is too obvious, but not antique for sure.
The decoration is nothing Chinese, and the mark is clearly a fabrication. It says "Qing dynasty, Chenghua reign". The Chenghua reign was in the Ming dynasty. But, apart from that the color and writing style of the mark is also wrong. This is a modern product, I'm afraid.

The vase had 2 chips in the Lid, and a hairline crack all the way round the top of the vase, but this cant be seen from the inside (STRANGE!) The measurments of the vase are: Height with lid 33cm and without lid 27cm. The width of the vase is middle 44cm and bottom 28cm. I would be gratful for any information regarding this. Its a Loveley vase and the value is of no interest,but would like it insured if it was worth a few hundred pounds at least. Many thanks to One and all.

Hi, This vase has been in our family for at least 80 years. it has been handed down but we have taken no notice of it. we have tried to trace the marks and they seem to be from the era 1465 (I wish) I trust that you could help me with identification so that we can hand it down to our son. Hi I have tried to download more images of the vase, but the system says a that I have used the verification word 3 times. I have used the word exactly as shown, but to n avail used capitals. Any ideas! Many thanks Kenny

Hi Kenny,
The problem with the captcha word is usually occurring because the users try using the word again, when it fails the first time. Usually, it is not possible to reuse it, and with each try another word is given. Each word can only be used once. So, please try the input of the new word when it failed the first time. Another one should appear.
