Hi Peter!
by: Sheri

I have been pouring over your web site...wonderful! and I came upon a post by Michael in Hollywood...he has/had a vase with the same coloring and style as this one...the eyes are not right for an antique and the noses are too pointed! lol...so I think I have answered my own question???...this is a vintage piece...but I have learned a great deal more information and I really appreciate it, as well as your time! Be safe and well...Respectfully yours,
Sheri

The mark is spurious and only for decoration. The item is from later in the 20th century.
