Hello I was wondering if anyone of you can recognize this marking on this little handpainted blue and red porcelain vase or if possible date it! I am not really sure if it is chinese. I really appreciate your help!

Thank you Peter that really helped a lot!
This vessel is relatively small in size and I am not exactly sure of its purpose - 2.5 inches high x 4 inches diameter. It could be a small vase, a cup or something else- what do you think? Also I have seen japanese Imari porcelain in this color and hexagonal form.

A cup of sorts is the most likely.

Hi, this could be Japanese. Actually, the mark DOES look Japanese. I can't read the name for sure, but it could be Hara, a family name. The mark looks exactly like Japanese personal seals. Could be an artist's or shop name.
