Chinese glazed enamel vase

Dear Peter, this beautiful vase is in need of explanation. I've never seen that marking. Thank you very much.

Hi Irina,
The green mark is essentially a Japanese mark, or it was added to give the impression that the item is of Japanese origin. Chinese items never use such marks.
I cannot tell if it is really a Japanese made item, as the decoration resembles neither the Japanese nor traditional Chinese decorations I know. On one side is the quality, which cannot compare with Japanese items of the past decades, on the other the bright colors, which I cannot attribute to Japan or China. IF this is Chinese, on the other hand, then it must be of a more recent date, imitating the mark. I must leave it to someone else to decide if could really be Japanese porcelain.
