blue and white jar

peter do you know if this jar is valuable, if it is the Qing dynasty

Stan,
Difficult to tell. I have seen some being sold from USD 100 to 300 on Ebay, but not of the same type and period.
Value is relative to the venue of selling, rarity, etc.

tea caddy
by: peter

Hi, this is a tea caddy.
I am not sure if this decoration is Daoguang (Tao Kuang), but I also think it is Qing dynasty.

It originally would have had a lid, but as with many other porcelain antiques the lid is missing. Actually, most such tea caddies I've seen either have none or a replacement lid of wood or pewter.

The character depicted on all four sides is the character Fu (happiness). The two bats on top are used for their auspicious symbolism. Called Bianfu in Chinese, the fu in Bianfu has the same pronunciation as the character above, and therefore bats are auspicious symbols for happiness too.
