Can you identify this vase?

Hi Peter, I came across a pair of these vases while clearing my parents house. They're about 5-6 inches tall and a "reverse" of each other in terms of the imagery. They look Chinese, although to my (untrained) eye the woman might be Japanese. The painting / decoration is very raised. The mark on the bottom is indistinct. Thanks for any help.

Satsuma with Kinkozan Mark

Rick,

Your Satsuma vase, if original, would have been made during Meiji
to Taisho by the Kinkozan family of potters. Hope this helps with your own research.

Looks like Japanese Satsuma ware or similar. But coould also be imitation thereof... maybe someone else can confirm what this is.
