blue and white porcelain chinese ink box

I have found a blue and white porcelain ink box with chinese writing in black on the inside and I am wondering what period this might be from or it is authenic. I do not have a picture, but have seen similar boxes that claim to be from 1700's - 1800's, but do not have writing inside. I'm more curious to the authentication, before purchasing.

(If the text is several lines and drilled into the glaze, it could be an epitaph.)
