Blue and White Bowl

This bowl was given to me 10 years ago.
it is a nice Blue and white.
Dimensions:
6.5" diameter
3.3" high
Can you tell me the maker and the year please: if it is new or old!
I could not find anything to explain the mark.

Hello,
From these pictures it doesn't seem to be Chinese. Could it be Japanese? The mark is too small and the picture too dark to read what is written on it. Can you upload a closeup picture of the mark and bottom alone?
